Biography
Fatuma Hawa is an accomplished academic with a Master’s degree in English Linguistics and extensive experience in the fields of Social Work and Social Administration. With a strong interdisciplinary foundation, Fatuma has contributed significantly to both linguistic and social science education, teaching a diverse range of courses at undergraduate. Her academic work focuses on the role of language in social contexts, particularly in areas related to social justice, policy implementation, and community engagement. Fatuma’s research explores how language influences identity, power dynamics, and access to social services, with a particular emphasis on vulnerable and marginalized populations. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she actively participates in curriculum development and student mentorship, demonstrating a sustained commitment to academic excellence and social impact.
